Web Hosting - The Most Important Foundation For Any Website

I went on my journey to find out how to host my own blog and not have a generic one like I did with Blogger and Typepad. My results were great and right on target of what I wanted. I am not a computer programmer nor do I want to be, but I did want a customized blog. What I found was the following.

The new user must use FileZilla (or an equivalent program) to add or remove files to the site. This is a test of basic web functions. I have had several applicants tell me that they could not perform this function. They were not invited to continue.

Ad Inserter (by Igor Funa) -- works in tandem with Advertising Manager below. Will make your life easier when you monetize your site with ads. The last thing I want to do is figure out how to code the ads in a way to make them repeat or sit in a certain area on my site. This plugin makes adding ads simple.

After each post make sure you bookmark the post using the top social bookmarking sites on the Internet such as Digg, Mixx, reddit, Delicious, Evernote, Google Bookmarks, Google Reader, StumbleUpon, and Twitter. These social bookmarking sites have the potential to drive a great deal of traffic to your website/blog. Also, sites such as Facebook and LinkedIn work great as well. And of course, when bookmarking your sites use your keywords whenever possible.

1st place goes to Bluehost. Bluehost are one of the leading hosting companies today. They offer those extra touches such as the latest version of cPanel and Fantastico, so that you can easily install and manage your WordPress blog. On the left panel, under the Appearance tab, click on Themes, click on Install Themes tab across the top, tick the boxes you want or put in name of a design or word and click Find Themes. Once you have found and settled on a theme, click Install, and then click Install Now button, then click Activate and your theme or design should be live on your website now.

There you go! Three tried and true website hosting providers. All three have superb customer service and offer a ton of services! No matter which one you pick, you won't be disappointed!
